Please read this policy before using the Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is the lawful basis for processing, we will request consent separately and you may withdraw it at any time.

Privacy email: support@alquatica.com

Website: https://alquatica.com

2 Scope

This policy applies to information processed through the Services and our related customer support, email marketing, analytics, and advertising activities. It does not govern third-party websites, applications, or services that have their own privacy policies.

Communications and content, such as emails, support requests, survey responses, reviews, testimonials, comments, and any files or information you choose to submit.

Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of access, cookie identifiers, and interactions with our website and emails.

Marketing and advertising information, such as subscription status, email engagement, ad interactions, audience membership, cookie choices, and inferred interests used to measure or personalize marketing where permitted.

Parent or guardian authorization information when a person aged 13 through 17 uses the Services, including the parent or guardian’s contact information and confirmation of authorization.

Sensitive information. We do not request sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, precise geolocation, health records, biometric identifiers, or information about race, religion, sexual orientation, or political beliefs. Please do not submit such information unless we specifically request it for a lawful and clearly explained purpose.

4 How we collect information

Directly from you when you complete a form, create an account, make a purchase, access a course, submit content, or contact us.

Automatically through cookies, pixels, software development tools, log files, and similar technologies when you use the Services.

From service providers and platforms, including Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, Google, and Meta, when they provide account, transaction, analytics, or advertising information to us.

From public sources or social-media interactions when you choose to interact with Alquatica publicly.

6 Email and waitlist communications

If you join a waitlist or subscribe to marketing, we use your contact information to send the material you requested and related Alquatica news, educational content, launch notices, and offers. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or service messages, such as receipts, security notices, account information, or course-access messages.

Where consent is required, the form will explain that you are subscribing to marketing before you submit it. We maintain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe so that we can honor the request.

7 Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use the following technologies:

Strictly necessary cookies that support core functions such as security, account login, shopping-cart operation, checkout, and privacy preferences.

Analytics cookies that help us understand traffic, page performance, and how visitors use the Services, including through Google Analytics.

Advertising cookies and pixels that measure campaigns and may support interest-based advertising, including the Meta Pixel where enabled.

Preference technologies that remember settings and choices.

Where required by law, non-essential analytics and advertising technologies will not operate until you consent. You may accept, reject, or change non-essential cookie choices using the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. You may also adjust browser settings, although disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.

Global Privacy Control. Where legally required, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising on the browser or device sending the signal.

8 Analytics and advertising partners

We currently expect to use the following providers. Their processing is governed by their contracts with us and, for activities they control independently, by their own privacy policies:

Kajabi. Website, forms, email delivery, customer accounts, course hosting, access, and related platform services. Privacy information

Google Analytics. Audience and website-use measurement. Google may receive device, browser, IP, cookie, and interaction information, subject to consent where required. Privacy information

Meta. Advertising delivery and measurement through tools such as Meta Pixel. Meta may receive cookie identifiers, device information, and website events, subject to consent and opt-out rights. Privacy information

Stripe and PayPal. Payment processing, fraud prevention, refunds, and transaction administration. The payment option you choose determines which provider processes your payment information. Privacy information

9 How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

Service providers and processors that host, operate, secure, analyze, advertise, communicate, or process payments for the Services.

Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors where confidentiality protections apply.

Government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the public.

A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with due diligence, financing, reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Other parties when you direct us to disclose information or provide valid consent.

We require service providers to process personal information only for authorized purposes and to protect it appropriately, subject to the provider’s role and applicable law.

10 Sale sharing and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. However, use of advertising technologies such as Meta Pixel may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain United States state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Depending on your location, you may opt out through our Cookie Settings link, a supported Global Privacy Control signal, or a request to our privacy email.

We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of anyone under 18.

11 Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe and/or PayPal. Payment details are submitted directly to the selected processor. Alquatica may receive limited information such as your name, billing address, payment type, last four digits, transaction identifier, payment status, and fraud or dispute information, but we do not intentionally receive or store complete card numbers or account credentials.

12 Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including the following intended periods unless a longer or shorter period is required by law, contract, dispute, or security need:

Record

Typical retention approach

Account and course records

While the account remains active and generally up to three years afterward, unless continued access has been promised or a legal need requires longer retention.

Transaction, tax, and accounting records

Generally seven years after the relevant transaction or longer if legally required.

Waitlist and marketing records

Until you unsubscribe, consent is withdrawn, the list purpose ends, or the contact has been inactive for approximately twenty-four months. A minimal suppression record may be retained to honor an opt-out.

Support and general communications

Generally up to three years after the matter is closed.

Analytics and advertising data

According to the retention settings configured in our tools and the provider’s own retention practices; we aim to use the shortest period reasonably necessary.

Security logs

Generally up to twenty-four months unless needed to investigate an incident or legal claim.

When retention ends, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate the information unless continued retention is permitted or required by law.

13 International transfers

Alquatica is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same legal protections as your home country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the applicable United Kingdom transfer mechanism. Kajabi states that its Data Processing Addendum, including relevant Standard Contractual Clauses, applies through its service agreement where applicable.

14 Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, reputable service providers, account authentication, and encrypted transmission where supported. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

15 Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

Know whether we process your personal information and request access to it.

Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

Request deletion or anonymization of information.

Receive a portable copy of certain information.

Restrict or object to certain processing.

Withdraw consent at any time for future processing based on consent.

Opt out of marketing, targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where applicable.

Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable.

Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Lodge a complaint with an appropriate privacy or data-protection authority.

How to exercise your rights. Email the privacy address in Section 1 with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe your request and the country or U.S. state in which you reside. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification from the individual.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason unless prohibited from doing so.

16 Regional disclosures

European Economic Area United Kingdom and Switzerland

If applicable law grants you GDPR-style rights, Alquatica processes personal information using the legal bases described in Section 5. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred. We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

California and other United States states

Where applicable state privacy law applies to Alquatica, the categories collected, sources, purposes, recipients, and retention practices are described in Sections 3 through 12. During the preceding twelve months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 3 and disclosed them to the service-provider categories in Section 9 for the stated business purposes. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-tool disclosures may qualify as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some state laws, and eligible residents may opt out as described in Section 10. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Canada

Where Canadian privacy law applies, we collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate and obtain meaningful consent where required. You may request access or correction and challenge our compliance by contacting the privacy contact in Section 1.

Australia and New Zealand

Where applicable, you may request access to or correction of personal information and complain about our handling of it by contacting us. We may disclose information to recipients outside your country, principally in the United States and in other locations where our listed service providers operate.

Brazil

Where the LGPD applies, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion where legally available, portability, information about sharing, review of qualifying automated decisions, and withdrawal of consent. You may also submit a complaint to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority after first contacting us where required.

17 Children and teenagers

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Individuals aged 13 through 17 may use the Services only with the authorization and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian should make purchases and create or control paid accounts on the teenager’s behalf where required by law or platform functionality.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us. After appropriate verification, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information or place the account under parent or guardian control. We do not knowingly use minors’ personal information for targeted advertising or sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

18 Third party links and embedded content

The Services may contain links to or embedded content from third parties, including social-media, video, software, or payment providers. Those parties may collect information under their own policies. Alquatica is not responsible for third-party privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their notices before providing information.

19 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Services, our providers, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy and revise the “last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
