Magick You Can Make
Alquatica turns folklore and fantasy into everyday magic you can make: recipes, rituals, costumes, crafts and otherworldly images, always with the meaning behind it.
Fantasy Is a Language
Grown-up life has a way of burying wonder under bills and to-do lists. Alquatica is here to help you dig it back up. Not by escaping your life, but by noticing the magic already living in it.
Here, folklore and fantasy are a language, not a cage. A meal can carry an old story. A season can become a small ritual. A pair of pointed ears and a careful edit can turn a photo into a portrait from somewhere else entirely.
Whatever we make together, I'll show you the real steps and tell you what it means, so the magick comes home with you.
Hello, I'm Ro
I'm RocĂo, and Alquatica is my one-fae operation. For years I photographed fashion, lifestyle and products for other people's brands. When that work went quiet due to worldly events, I turned the camera on myself. I wanted a visual world that was finally mine, and a way to claim my own voice.
Those self-portraits became the heart of Alquatica. I'm the one in the ears, the wig and the paint, and the one behind the edit.
